Hong Leong Bank 9-month net profit up 7.6% to RM1.44b


KUALA LUMPUR: Hong Leong Bank Bhd's earnings rose 7.6% to RM1.439bil in the nine-months ended March 31, 2013 from RM1.337bil a year ago, underpinned by higher non-interest income and improved operating efficiencies.

It said on Thursday profit before tax rose 8.5% to RM1.864bil from RM1.718bil. Revenue increased 3.7% to RM3.031bil from RM2.922bil.
