Jetson taps China car parts market with purchase of Asian Corp


KUALA LUMPUR: Kumpulan Jetson Bhd is making its foray into the Chinese market with the development of an integrated car parts industry park with a gross development cost of RM174.4mil following its acquisition of China-based Asian Corp Ltd (ACL) for RM11mil,

“It (setting up a base) is part of our long-term strategy. We are already exporting 25% to 30% of our manufacturing products to China. China is developing and becoming one of our key markets. We want to tap into China to benefit from the economies of scale,” group managing director Datuk Teh Kian An said after the company EGM.
