KUALA LUMPUR: The local bourse closed higher Monday on selective trading as investors stayed on the sidelines owing to the lack of market-moving news.
The benchmark index was a quarter of a percent higher at 1,519.41 while Singapore's Straits Times Index advanced 1.27% to 3,138.93.
