BToto shares up 14 sen to RM4.52 on positive news

SHARES in Berjaya Sports Toto Bhd (BToto) gained 14 sen to RM4.52 yesterday on brisk volume after several research houses released positive reports on the proposed sale of BToto shares by Berjaya Land Bhd (BLand) to Intan Utilities Bhd (Intan).

Analysts who attended a briefing conducted by the BToto and Intan management on Wednesday, which was also attended by Berjaya Group Bhd owner Tan Sri Vincent Tan, walked away convinced of BToto’s commitment to reward shareholders with a higher than anticipated cash distribution and special dividend.
