MASTER Builders Association Malaysia (MBAM) has expressed concern that the construction sector continued to decline in the fourth quarter of 2004, due to a decline in the number of Government jobs and infrastructure projects.
Bank Negara Malaysia, in its report on gross domestic product (GDP) growth for the fourth quarter of 2004, said the construction sector saw a 3.3% decline during the last three months of 2004.
