FORTY-FIVE days after being put up for sale by tender, four of the eight properties previously owned by Faber Group Bhd were snapped up for RM136mil, 11% more than the aggregate indicative prices.
Agent for the tender sales, Zerin Properties, said the identity of successful bidders for the Sheraton Perdana Resort (Langkawi), Sheraton (Kuantan), Merlin Inn (Johor Baru) and Merlin Inn (Cameron Highlands) would be revealed when sales and purchase agreements had been finalised.
