STRONG buying interest in lower liners, particularly second board stocks, lifted the second board index (SBI) to a three-year high of 154.7, after surging 7.5 points or 5% yesterday.
Overall market volume shot up to 1.3 billion shares yesterday compared with 719.8 million on Monday, reflecting the growing interest in the local market.
