Edaran Otomobil Nasional Bhd (EON) expects to sell 80,000 units of Proton vehicles for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2003, from 127,859 units last year.

EON managing director Datuk Adzmi Wahab said this was partly due to stiff competition from non-national makes. He said EON was working with Proton to improve car sales and at the same time was looking to distribute other cars.
