DIFFICULTY in getting rubber tappers and good turnover from the palm oil sector has prompted Riverview Rubber Estate Bhd to phase out its remaining rubber plantation by the end of next year.
Its chairman Juliana Manohari Devadason said at the moment, only 8.5% of its total planted area of 1,755ha consisted of rubber trees.
