CYL Corporation Bhd has experienced a surge in business orders from customers who are involved in the detergent and toiletries sectors since March following the onset of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), its managing director Chen Yat Lee said.
The company specialises in made-to-order plastic packaging products and produces more than 300 million plastic containers a year, with sizes ranging from 5 ml to 5 litres. About 95% of the products are sold in the local market.
