MIeX 2026 to connect Malaysia, China, and Asean with cross-border business opportunities in mind

From traditional attire to cross-border business opportunities, MIeX 2026 aims to bring culture and commerce together, creating a platform where heritage inspires connections and international exchange opens doors to cooperation.

The Malaysia International Intangible Cultural Heritage, Tourism, Trade & Business Exchange (MIeX 2026) is organised by the Malaysia Fashion, Modelling & Pageant Association (MFMPA) at Subang Parade Shopping Mall.

Scheduled for 3–8 December 2026 at ICC Pudu, Kuala Lumpur, MIeX 2026 aims to connect businesses, associations, cultural practitioners and tourism stakeholders from Malaysia, China and Asean, while welcoming wider international participation.

A central focus of MIeX 2026 is business matching, helping participants identify potential partners, exchange resources and explore opportunities in trade, tourism and cultural enterprise.

Exhibitions and networking activities will provide opportunities for entrepreneurs, industry representatives and organisations to discuss cross-border collaboration and develop relationships beyond the event.

Traditional attire, craftsmanship and performing arts tell the stories of communities. They also connect designers, artisans and cultural practitioners with new audiences and potential collaborators.

MIeX 2026 seeks to bring these communities together with businesses and tourism stakeholders, encouraging cooperation that supports

heritage preservation, cultural enterprise and tourism development.

The event will establish a foundation for participating partners to explore joint initiatives and future collaboration. MFMPA aims to connect businesses, organisations, professionals and young talents across the region. There will be many cultural events and highlights including cultural showcases will also be held.
