Tickets are almost sold out; football fans are set to witness an extraordinary gathering of former Premier League and international football stars, bringing together players whose careers have left an enduring mark on the sport and inspired generations of fans around the world.
With the stage now set for the highly anticipated clash, the match has been relocated to the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur, following careful consideration of the worsening haze situation and unpredictable weather conditions. It also ensures the safety and health of both fans and players alike.
AllStar Sports, in collaboration with World Football Legends (WFL), also officially unveiled the complete player line-up and match trophy for AllStar Legends during a special media conference on Thursday (Oct 1)
The AllStar Premier Legends line-up brings together icons who have graced the English Premier League, including John Arne Riise, Eidur Gudjohnsen, Danny Simpson, Ryan Giggs, Steven Gerrard, David Bentley, and Michael Owen.
Joining them are the AllStar World Legends, featuring a dazzling selection of global football stars including Javier Saviola, Jaap Stam, Fernando Morientes, Diego Capel, Dida, Alessandro Del Piero, and Gregory Van Der Wiel.

At the press meet, former England star Owen, who first graced the Malaysian fields during the 1997 World Youth Cup that was held in the country, said he is excited about returning here again.
"I love coming to Malaysia and have been here several times already. The football fans here always impress me, and the country also has seen rapid development, and it is always exciting to be here," said the former top striker who had also played for Liverpool, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Stoke City and Newcastle United.
Fernando Morientes, once Spain's and Real Madrid's top marksman who also graced Liverpool, added that he expects a very exciting match in store for the fans, especially since they will be playing on a fast-paced indoor pitch.
One of the main attractions of the game will be Jaap Stam, who won almost all the titles in European football with Manchester United, AC Milan, Lazio, PSV Eindhoven and Ajax, and he promised it will be a game fans will never forget and enjoy at the same time.
"It is also fun playing against and with some of the best players that I know who have graced the game. It is something that will be very joyful for fans," said Stam.
The move to an indoor football venue now introduces a new dimension to the AllStar Legends experience. The indoor football format is expected to produce a faster-paced dynamic game, with the setting bringing spectators closer to the players and the action.

Rather than simply recreating a traditional stadium experience, AllStar Legends at MITEC will offer fans a more intimate environment to see football legends up close, while providing a controlled indoor setting for players and spectators.
AllStar Sports Project Director, Steven Windsor, said the strong response to the event demonstrates the enduring appeal of football legends and the memories they have created among fans.
“The excitement surrounding AllStar Legends has been incredible, and we are delighted to finally reveal the complete line-up ahead of match day. Bringing together these football icons from the Premier League and around the world is a special opportunity for fans to see them share the pitch.
"We look forward to welcoming what promises to be a memorable night, where different generations can come together through their shared passion for football,” said Windsor.
For the record, the event is also supported by the Football Association of Malaysia.
Guided by the theme ‘Rise Above All’, AllStar Legends celebrates the power of sport to bring people together, uniting communities through shared experiences, passion and a love for the game.
