KUALA LUMPUR: AllStar Sports, in collaboration with World Football Legends (WFL), has officially unveiled the player line-up for AllStar Premier Legends and AllStar World Legends, ahead of the much-anticipated AllStar Legends friendly clash at the TM National Stadium, Bukit Jalil on Oct 3.
With the announcement now made, the match will feature several world-class players, all of whom have reached the pinnacle of the sport by winning the FIFA World Cup, UEFA Champions League, and English Premier League.
The confirmed line-up includes:
AllStar Premier League Legends: Steven Gerrard – Legendary Liverpool FC Captain; Michael Owen – Ballon d'Or Winner; Ryan Giggs – 13-time Premier League Champion; Eidur Gudjohnsen – Premier League and La Liga Champion; John Arne Riise – UEFA Champions League Winner
AllStar World Legends: Alessandro Del Piero – World Cup Winner and former Juventus star; Jaap Stam – Premier League Champion and Champions League Winner; Javier Saviola – Argentina Olympic gold medalist and star striker; Fernando Morientes – UEFA Champions League Winner; and Dida – World Cup-winning goalkeeper (More player names will be unveiled closer to the date of the match).
