MANILA: A woman was killed while two men were wounded after gunmen riding motorcycles shot at a parked vehicle in Ilocos Sur province, northern Philippines, on Monday (Sept 28).
Two victims, including the woman, were inside the vehicle parked along the road in Bantay Municipality when the gunmen opened fire, according to local police.
The female victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was declared dead at the scene by responding medical personnel. The male victim in the vehicle was brought to a local hospital in critical condition.
The third victim was near the vehicle and was grazed in the head, and was reported to be in stable condition.
The suspects on two motorcycles without licence plates fled. Investigations are underway. - Xinhua
