Giving the gift of life in Brunei


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The Royal Thai Embassy in Brunei Darussalam on August 11, 2026 organised a blood donation drive on the occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s Birthday Anniversary and National Mother’s Day.

The blood donation drive was organised together with the Thai Community in Brunei and ‘Friends of Thailand’ at the Blood Donation Centre, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital.

Ambassador of Thailand to Brunei Darussalam Akrapong Chalermnon, together with the officers and staff from Team Thailand, Thai community in Brunei and Friends of Thailand participated, with 28 pints of blood collected.

This marks the 15th blood donation drive organised by the Royal Thai Embassy as the partner of blood donation drives with hospitals in Brunei. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
