SINGAPORE: Three people were left unconscious after a fire broke out in a flat in Little India on Aug 3, and were among five people taken to hospital.
The five had been trapped in a fifth-floor unit, according to a post on the Singapore Civil Defence Force's (SCDF) Facebook page.
SCDF was alerted to a fire at Block 684 Race Course Road at 7.10pm.
Upon SCDF's arrival, a bedroom in a unit on the fifth floor was on fire. The blaze was extinguished with a water jet.
One person was rescued by the police, while the other four were rescued by SCDF.
Investigations are ongoing. – ST/ANN
