Two Grade-6 students in Myanmar's Amarapura Township stabbed to death during fight


YANGON: It was reported that two Grade 6 students were stabbed to death in a fight in Amarapura Township, Mandalay, on Tuesday (June 23).

The incident occurred when both students studying at the Post-Primary Education School in Kala Village No. (4) Ward, Amarapura Township, got into a fight in front of the school.

The students were both 15 years old. One of them stabbed the other with a knife during the fight, resulting in a stab wound to the right side of the neck. He died while being taken to the hospital.

"Two students died after stabbing each other during a quarrel. There is no other cause. We are taking steps to comply with the law," said a Mandalay Region Police official. - Eleven Media/ANN
