The Excel Language Center, with the aim of providing top-quality, affordable English language education with a strong emphasis on student engagement, has opened up in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
It aims to provide a supportive learning environment dedicated to helping every student succeed in the working order of Malaysia and South-East Asia.
Principal and Head of Academic Norazleena Othman said education is about developing confidence, building character, creating opportunities, and preparing individuals to succeed in an increasingly connected world.
"At Excel Language Center, we believe that education is not simply about passing examinations or obtaining certificates and quality education remains at the heart of everything we do.
"We continuously strive to provide effective teaching methods, qualified educators, engaging learning environments, and academic programmes that meet international standards. Our goal is not only to teach English but also to empower students with the skills they need to communicate, think critically, and achieve their personal and professional aspirations," said Norazleena.
"We also strongly believe that education should be accessible to everyone. As part of our commitment to social responsibility, this centre also sponsors and supports local students who may require assistance in pursuing their educational goals.
"We understand that talent and potential exist in every community, and we are committed to helping deserving students gain access to quality English education regardless of their background. By investing in education today, we are investing in a brighter future for our society tomorrow."
She added that English language proficiency has become more important than ever in today’s globalised world. English is the international language of business, higher education, technology, tourism, and diplomacy and the ability to communicate effectively in English opens doors to universities, career opportunities, international collaborations, and cultural exchange.

"Beyond learning the language itself, the English learning experience develops confidence, communication skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to engage with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. These experiences prepare students to become global citizens who can contribute positively to their communities and the wider world.
"Here, we will always remain committed to excellence, innovation, and inclusivity in education. Together with our dedicated teachers, supportive parents, and motivated students, we will continue to create opportunities, transform lives, and inspire future generations."
Meanwhile, Sahel Wahdain, the Business Manager of the Excel, said the centre is bringing a different approach to English education into the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
"We are in a country that has given countless opportunities to people from all around the world and it is Excel’s main priority to innovate, improve and enhance the education opportunities for all students, international and local," he said. "At Excel, we don’t just offer English courses, we offer an English experience."
He added, starting with a seven-hour-a-day programme for the students, consisting of four hours of book learning, one hour of class activities that offer daily English practice for our students, and then a 2 hour online speaking class; that way, Excel balance their students’ involvement in English without the heavy load of attending a seven-hour physical class.
"We believe practice is the most effective way to develop real communication skills; that is why our students enjoy 60 hours a month of English practice in addition to 80 hours of learning English," said Sahel
"This is the standard we are setting for ourselves: practical education, meaningful innovation and genuine care for every student. What begins here in Kuala Lumpur is part of a much larger vision for Excel—one that we hope will eventually reach students far beyond Malaysia," he added.
