Wall of four-storey building collapses in Osaka, hits taxi, causes minor injuries to female passenger

TOKYO: The exterior wall of a four-storey building collapsed and fell near a tollgate on the loop line of the Hanshin Kosoku expressway in Chuo Ward, Osaka, around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday (May 10).

The falling wall struck a moving taxi. A female passenger in her 20s sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital, while the male driver, in his 70s, reportedly complained of pain in his leg.

Debris from the wall and other materials were scattered across the road. The Osaka Prefectural Police department is investigating the cause of the collapse. - The Japan News/ANN
