Magnitude 5.6 earthquake strikes Taiwan region, GFZ says

TAIPEH (Reuters): An earthquake measuring 5.6 magnitude struck Taiwan on Friday, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said.

The quake was at a depth of 96 kilometres, GFZ said. (Reporting by Federica Mileo in Barcelona, Editing by Louise Heavens)
