Brunei community spirit takes centre stage at festive gathering

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The ‘Jalinan Ukhwah Aidilfitri’ celebration was held in Kota Batu township east of the capital recently, bringing together members of the community from various backgrounds, along with local leaders.

Event chairman and penghulu of Kota Batu Rasli Taram said, “This event serves as a platform for all parties to get acquainted, exchange views and further strengthen unity within the community.”

He added that the gathering reflects the spirit of unity and cooperation among the Kota Batu residents.

The event aimed to recognise the contributions and dedication of non-governmental organisations that consistently provide assistance in the form of necessities and financial aid to village residents, particularly during Ramadan.
