5.2 magnitude earthquake strikes eastern Turkiye


ISTANBUL (Bernama-Anadolu): A 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck Turkiye's eastern Van province at 8.52 am local time on Saturday, according to Turkiye's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), Anadolu Ajansi (AA) reported. 

AFAD said the tremor's epicentre was in Van's Tusba district at a depth of 7 kilometres (4.35 miles).

Van Governor Ozan Balci told Anadolu that there have been no reports of casualties, adding that authorities are conducting their search operations.
