From their early performances at Stadium Merdeka to the recent milestone show at Bukit Jalil National Stadium, legendary Mandopop band Mayday has, over the past 25 years, forged an enduring bond with tens of thousands of passionate Malaysian fans — one that has only grown stronger with time.

Today, that deep connection has extended beyond music, evolving into a meaningful act of giving that brings warmth and hope through charitable efforts.

Following the great success of their MAYDAY #5525 LIVE TOUR in Malaysia, Mayday’s management agency, B'in Music, today announced a donation of US$300,000 (RM1.2 million) towards charitable causes. This meaningful gesture reflects the band’s heartfelt gratitude to Malaysian fans, whose unwavering support has been a constant companion throughout their music journey since their debut.

The donation was officially presented on behalf of Mayday today in Kuala Lumpur by Datuk Alan Foo, Managing Director of Star Planet, the local concert organiser, with Ng Siang Siang, representative of B’in Music Malaysia, in attendance as witness.

The beneficiaries — spanning education, welfare, and community services — include Dignity for Children Foundation, Teach For Malaysia (TFM), Yu Cai Foundation, Rumah Hope Children’s Home, Malaysian Association for the Blind (MAB), The Educational, Welfare and Research Foundation Malaysia (EWRF), and St. John Ambulance of Malaysia (SJAM).

The funds will support initiatives such as improving educational infrastructure for underserved youth, enhancing training programmes, advancing welfare research for vulnerable groups, and strengthening emergency medical response capabilities nationwide.

B’in Music shared: “Mayday has always believed their journey is one shared with their fans.  Mayday hopes that even after the concerts have ended, this warmth can continue to be passed on across Malaysia in simple yet meaningful ways, reaching and supporting those in need.”

In a personal message shared via B’in Music, Mayday expressed their gratitude: “Every cheer and every moment of support from our Malaysian fans remains close to our hearts. You’ve been part of every step of our journey. While music can heal, actions can create change—this is our humble way of saying thank you to Malaysia for the years of love and support.”
