Innovative project breathes new life into Lao musical traditions

VIENTIANE: Traditional Lao melodies are set to be transformed through fresh interpretations, following the launch of the “A Symphony of Heritage” initiative by the musical group “The Pianist Vientiane”.

The initiative brings together young Lao musicians, cultural institutions and international partners to preserve and reinterpret some of the country’s most treasured songs while introducing them to modern audiences.
