Retired military personnel in Brunei bags BND8,888 cash prize, China trip

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Yusuf Masron won a BND8,888 cash prize and a free trip to Zhengzhou, China as part of the grand draw of the Build Your Dreams’ Drive into Festivity lucky draw campaign at BYD/Denza’s showroom Friday (Feb 27).

Marketing manager of Maju Motors Sdn Bhd Jerrell Chan drew the grand prize and presented it.

Asked about winning the BND8,888 cash prize, the retired military personnel said, “It’s great to win the grand prize and I think that they (Maju Motors) should do it more often. I think I will put the cash prize into the Sealion 6 that I bought.”

On why he chose the Sealion 6, he said, “because it’s a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle and its very economical as well as good value for money. I don’t doubt Chinese’s technology and I trust Chinese technology. They are the leading number one in electric vehicle. I also received a number of positive reviews of the car.”

Pengiran Muhd Firdaus Pengiran Aliudin, Mohd Zulkarnaen Sidek, Chen Chin Ee and Amirul Rasyidin, the other four winners, also walked away with a free trip to Zhengzhou, China. Head of Sales of BYD and Denza Pengiran Nizem and Azim Ghani made the draw.

Organised in conjunction with the Chinese New Year, the campaign started from Feb 2 to 23, where anyone who purchased a BYD vehicle within the campaign’s period was entitled to the draw.
