Asean eyes secure communications for members' defence agencies


JAKARTA/MANILA (Bernama-Anadolu): With the Philippines hosting this year's Asean Summit, the Department of National Defence (DND) has announced that it has "virtually" convened a meeting with its South-East Asian counterparts aimed at developing safe, secure and interoperable communications among the defence establishments of member states of the organisation.

The Philippines News Agency (PNA) reported that the 3rd Meeting of the Asean Direct Communications Infrastructure (ADI) Integrated Project Team (IPT) Phase 2 took place on Thursday, the DND said in a statement.
