A total of 80 special dishes will grace the tables at the Ramadan buffet themed "Warisan Citarasa Asli 2 Benua", organised by RISDA Security and Services (RSS) in collaboration with Rumah Makan Patin Pasu.

The buffet, held at Dewan Menara Kumpulan RISDA from February 23 to March 18, highlights a unique combination of traditional Malay cuisine and Western dishes, offering a distinctive experience for city residents seeking an exclusive breaking-of-fast gathering.

RSS Chief Executive Officer, Putera Sidek, said the Ramadan buffet marks a strategic move by the company to expand its business portfolio into the catering and hospitality industry.

“RISDA has more than 10 years of experience in event management, and this is our first step into organizing a Ramadan buffet, further strengthening and diversifying our business,” he said.

According to him, the collaboration with Rumah Makan Patin Pasu was based on the restaurant’s strong reputation and expertise in authentic Malay cuisine, emphasizing traditional flavors and quality preparation.

Meanwhile, Co-Founder of Rumah Makan Patin Pasu, Ridzuan Anuar, explained that 80 types of dishes will be served daily, divided into three rotating menu sets — Set A, Set B, and Set C.

“This rotating menu concept ensures customers enjoy a variety of different dishes throughout Ramadan without feeling bored,” he said.

Among the main attractions are smoked beef, smoked duck, and smoked catfish prepared using traditional Malay recipes. For Western cuisine enthusiasts, roasted lamb, lamb stew, lasagna, as well as a variety of pasta and Italian specialties will also be available, prepared by certified chefs to maintain high standards of taste and quality.

The hall, located in the heart of the capital, can accommodate up to 500 guests at one time. It is equipped with comfortable prayer facilities and complimentary parking for visitors’ convenience. The breaking-of-fast atmosphere will also be enlivened with live band performances, adding to the festive spirit throughout the event.

The buffet is priced at RM139 for adults, RM110 for RISDA staff and retirees, and RM88 for children aged seven to 11 and senior citizens aged 60 and above. Group bookings are entitled to special discounts of 10 percent for 30 to 40 people and 15 percent for bookings exceeding 41 people.

Members of the public who are interested may make reservations by scanning the QR code on the official poster or by contacting 011-17692601, 013-2469229, or 019-3517116.

The “Citarasa 2 Benua” themed buffet is expected to be one of the preferred destinations for city dwellers in Kuala Lumpur to enjoy a breaking-of-fast experience that brings together the flavors of East and West in a single memorable spread.
