According to a Saturday (Feb 14) press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the inaugural meeting of the Board of Peace will take place on Feb 19, at the Donald J. Trump US Institute of Peace in Washington, DC.

The meeting marks the formal commencement of the Board’s mandate, in accordance with the Resolution of the UN Security Council adopted on Nov 17, 2025, which aims to promote peace and advance efforts towards the reconstruction in Gaza.
