Visit spotlights progress of national development projects in Brunei

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Members of the National Development Plan Working Committee (JKK RKN) conducted a working visit to the Twelfth National Development Plan (RKN12) project sites in the Brunei-Muara District on Monday (Feb 9).

Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Datuk Seri Setia Dr Awang Mohd Amin Liew Abdullah, in his capacity as Chairman of JKK RKN, led the delegation.

The working visit aimed to take a closer look at the development and progress of national projects under the RKN to ensure smooth implementation.

The visit began at the construction site of the new mosque of RPN Kampong Rimba, followed by the Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) Squadron Building, which has been completed, and the C295MW Air Transport Project at the Royal Brunei Air Force Base, Rimba.

The visit concluded with a stop at the Brunei Museum Building and the Exhibition Building in Kota Batu.

The project, currently in Phase 3 of implementation, involves the refurbishment and upgrading of the museum’s infrastructure and exhibition contents, which, once completed, will become a key attraction for tourists.
