In his address, Awang highlighted that the 105th Police Day serves as a platform to recognise the services, sacrifices and continued commitment of RBPF personnel in safeguarding the nation’s security, peace and well-being. He noted that after more than a century of service, the RBPF remains a trusted and respected security institution.

He also emphasised that leadership grounded in trust, integrity and transparency is the cornerstone of the force’s excellence, in line with the titah of His Majesty Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

The ceremony continued with the presentation of Certificates of Commendation to 21 police personnel — comprising five officers and 16 rank-and-file members — in recognition of their dedication and exemplary service.
