Roadshow strengthens ties with Belait community in Brunei

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) is strengthening its engagement with the local community in the Belait District as the two-day ‘Royal Brunei Navy Roadshow Kuala Belait’ was held Saturday (Jan 10) and continues today at the Maritime Port Authority of Brunei Darussalam (MPABD) Port along the Belait River and at the Municipal Hall in the heart of Kuala Belait Town.

The roadshow aims to raise public awareness of the RBN’s roles and responsibilities while bringing naval outreach closer to the community, in line with RBN’s commitment to foster stronger ties with the public.

Throughout the roadshow, members of the public are invited to explore the ship and range of exhibitions highlighting the RBN’s operational capabilities, maritime security roles and career pathways.

Some of the activities include the open ship tour at the MPABD Port as well as community-oriented activities at the Kuala Belait Municipal Hall.

The activities include live band performances, exhibitions and interactive engagements set up by RBN personnel, and designed to attract visitors of all ages.

The roadshow will continue today at the MPABD Port as well as the Municipal Hall from 9am to 4.30pm.
