Philippines' lawmakers blast US govt over invasion of Venezuela

MANILA (Philippine Daily Inquirer/ANN): Philippine lawmakers on Sunday condemned the US invasion of Venezuela following airstrikes that led to the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.

In a statement, Akbayan Party-list Rep. Perci Cendaña openly opposed the US’ attack on Venezuela, tagging it as an “illegal invasion.”
