Philippines' Iloilo town vice mayor dies after accidental gun discharge

ILOILO CITY, Philippines: Dueñas Vice Mayor Aimee Paz Lamasan (pic) was confirmed dead on Wednesday after accidentally firing her own firearm near her Iloilo City residence the day before.

Her death was intially reported by media outlets, citing unauthorised sources, but was confirmed by Dueñas mayor Robert Martin Pama on Wednesday evening (Dec 31).
