Indonesian Navy prepares 5,000 personnel for Gaza peacekeeping force

JAKARTA: The Indonesian Navy (TNI-AL) plans to deploy about 5,000 personnel as part of a proposed 20,000-strong peacekeeping force for the Gaza Strip, a senior naval official said on Tuesday (Nov 25), reported Antara news agency.

TNI-AL Information Service head Rear Admiral Tunggul said the Navy is preparing roughly 25 per cent of the personnel requested for the mission.
