Nobel laureate Chen Ning Yang dies aged 103: Chinese state media

BEIJING: Chen Ning Yang, a world-renowned scientist and recipient of the Nobel Prize for Physics, died on Saturday (Oct 18) in Beijing at the age of 103, Chinese state media said.

His death was attributed only to "illness" in a report by state broadcaster CCTV.
