LOMBOK, Indonesia (AFP): Newly crowned world champion Marc Marquez crashed out of the Indonesia MotoGP on Sunday in the opening lap after a nasty collision with polesitter Marco Bezzecchi.

Aprilia's Bezzecchi slid from first to seventh after the start, before trying to overtake Marquez's Ducati, slamming into the back of him and sending both tumbling into the gravel.
