Local Indian top musician Sasi The Don celebrates 25 years in music with new album and new single 'Fyre'

Celebrating 25 years in the music business, Sasi continues to break boundaries by blending reggae roots with pop, world music, and contemporary sounds — cementing his place as one of Malaysia’s most unique and inspiring voices.

At the heart of the album is the powerful new single “Fyre,” which went live on September 26, an anthem of passion, courage, and unity. The track features Dr. Jerusha Naidoo, a South African medical doctor and singer residing in Malaysia, whose soulful vocals add depth to the song’s global resonance.

The accompanying music video for “Fyre” marks Sasi’s first venture into AI-driven creativity, a groundbreaking collaboration between OneDrop Studios and ArtHart Studios, symbolizing innovation, technology, and cultural exchange.

This project was made possible with the support of the Ministry of Communications through MyCreative Ventures with Dana Kandungan Kreatif (Industri Muzik) – Dana Kebolehan Pasaran, whose grant empowered Sasi to realize his vision for My Perfect Yard.

Further igniting the journey, redONE Mobile has come on board to collaborate with Sasi The Don on the "FYRE" music video.

The album and its rollout are supported by Sony Music Malaysia, a key partner in ensuring "My Perfect Yard" reaches audiences across the region and beyond.

With Sony Music’s strong platform and expertise, this collaboration provides Sasi The Don with the resources and partnership needed to make this milestone project a resounding success. The album is scheduled for release in mid-November 2025.

As Sasi The Don steps into his next chapter, "My Perfect Yard" represents not only a personal journey of growth and discovery but also a celebration of music’s power to unite people across cultures and generations.
