Elite, the Malaysian 'Spice Girls' are back, and there was so much style in them as they had their fans rocking in their first concert in 20 years at the Plenary Hall, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) during the weekend.
The Elite Live '25 concert not only wowed with its energetic performances but also managed to attract more than 2,000 spectators at the venue.
The audience was also entertained by the funny and spontaneous behavior of Elite members Abby Abadi, Linda Rafar, Watie Sadali, Sasha Saidin, and Azza Zawari on stage, thus successfully curing their longing for the popular 1990s girl group.
According to Watie, the large-scale concert was very meaningful for them because they were able to reunite with all five original members of the group that had been established for 30 years.
"Each of us is busy with our own lives and businesses, so we rarely get to get together. But because of this reunion concert, we were able to see each other for three months during the training sessions," said Watie.
"For this concert, Azza was even willing to lose weight. For three weeks, she has only eaten eggs because she wants to lose weight for her fans," she said while receiving cheers from the audience."

What is interesting is that this concert not only cured the fans' longing, but Elite also shared the story of their early formation in 1995 as a group that once sparked a phenomenon.
A total of more than 20 popular Elite songs were performed that night during the two-hour concert, such as Sesuatu Di Dalam Dirimu, Dua Hati, Bila Lagi, Catwalk, Alhamdulillah, and Mengerti.
At the climax, Elite closed the concert with a series of hits such as "Trauma, Tamparan Wanita, Manis Senyumanmu", thus recalling their glory days as a "girl band".
The Elite concert, which was the first time brought by the organizer, Icon Entertainment, was enlivened by the performance of the group X-Factor with two songs, namely" Bertuah and 7251364".
Not to be missed was the appearance of the group Alpha, who duetted with Elite through the song "Di Pintu Syurga" and their popular songs such as "Mona Lisa and P Ramlee & Saloma".
The event was also made more glamorous with top celebrities such as Zain Saidin, Erysha Emyra, Nurkhiriah, Kak KM, Zed Zaidi, and Datuk Seri Vida, who were at the concert supporting their favourite girl band. -- Story from mStar
