Typhoon Kajiki forces closure of two Vietnam airports; hundreds of flights; at least 35 flights cancelled

HANOI (Vietnam News/ANN): The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) has announced the suspension of flights at two airports in central Vietnam on Monday as Typhoon Kajiki approaches.

Dong Hoi Airport in Quang Binh Province was closed from 4am to 4pm on Monday, while Tho Xuan Airport in Thanh Hoa will suspend operations from 10am to 9pm, the same day, to ensure passenger and equipment safety. At least 35 flights have been confirmed to be cancelled.
