Cambodia's trade with Asean reaches US$8.45bil in H1


PHNOM PENH: Cambodia's trade volume with its fellow Asean member states hit US$8.45 billion in the first half of 2025, an increase of six per cent over the same period last year, an official report said on Thursday (July 17).

The country exported products totally worth $3.12 billion to other Asean countries during the January-June period this year, up 16 per cent year-on-year, while its total import amounted to $5.33 billion, up 0.91 per cent, said the report compiled by the Commerce Ministry.

Cambodia's trade volume with the Asean accounted for 27.2 per cent of the country's total trade volume in the first half of 2025, the report said. - Xinhua
