'Thank You, Malaysia' Indonesian legendary singer Kris Dayanti overwhelmed with local fans at her nostalgia concert

The presence of Biduanita Negara, Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza, who appeared elegantly dressed in a full evening outfit, was one of the most eye-catching moments at the "Kris Dayanti Cinta Nostalgia Concert" at the  Putrajaya International Convention Centreon Sunday.

To have her good friend on the stage with her and with several thousand fans cheering her on, Indonesian diva Kris Dayanti was just touched beyond words on the stage.

"Thank You, Thank You, my dear friend Siti and my dear, dear fans in Malaysia. I'm touched beyond words today.

"This is an amazing turn up here at this venue. And for me, to share the stage with my dear friend Siti and sing for you my dears fans. I'm so touched beyond words and I'm so happy to share this wonderful evening with all you wonderful people," said Kris before the two-and-a-half hours concert event.

"I just love to come here and perform for my fans in Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur is like a second home to me. I'm never disappointed to perform for all you," Kris added.

Overall, the concert took place in a lively and emotional atmosphere; touching the hearts of the fans who attended, last Sunday. Songs such as "Menghitung Hari, Mencintaimu, Cubalah Untuk Setia, Cahaya, and Hati Ini Telah Dilukai" brought back beautiful nostalgia for the fans.

The closeness between Krisdayanti and the fans was clearly evident throughout the concert, further enhanced by the cheering and singing along that accompanied almost every song.

The special presence of famous singer, Siti Nurhaliza, also added to the meaning and uniqueness of the night. Also enlivening the stage was local star singer Mimi Fly who also performed for Kris at the concert..

The last time Krisdayanti held a concert in this country was through the "Krisdayanti Romansa Concert" which took place eight years ago.

Of course, the star event of the show was when Krisdayanti spontaneously invited Siti to sing with her on stage, so much so that she didn't even have time to put down her bag.

The friendship that has been established for over 20 years between Krisdayanti and Siti was clearly visible when they sang the song "Jika Kau Tak Datang" with Mimifly, from the iconic album CTKD (CTKD: Canda, Tangis, Ketawa, Duka).

Although busy with preparations for her own upcoming concert, Siti was more than happy to jive the night with her good friend. The two beloved divas also managed to sing the songs "Cindai" and "Sinaran" to thunderous applause and cheers from fans.

"This is not just a concert, this is a celebration of love, memories and the voice that unites us all," Krisdayanti said emotionally on stage.

For two and a half hours, the audience seemed to be carried away by the emotional sound, especially when the 'haunted' song Menghitung Hari was sung.

Adding to the warmth of the night, singer Mimifly also made a special appearance by performing the song "Angkat". Meanwhile, Khai Bahar also lent his voice in a special duet with Krisdayanti through the song "Hati Ini Telah Dilukai".

The 'magic' of the performance was also enhanced by the touch of the famous Indonesian music maestro, Erwin Gutawa, who led a luxurious and exclusive orchestra.
