BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: On the sidelines of the 17th Conference of the Asean Ministers Responsible for Information (AMRI) and the 8th Conference of the AMRI Plus Three at The Empire Brunei in Kampong Jerudong, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Major General (Rtd) Datuk Paduka Seri Awang Halbi Mohd Yussof, as Chairman of the 17th Conference AMRI and the 8th Conference of AMRI Plus Three, held separate bilateral meetings with Malaysia’s Deputy Minister of Communications Teo Nie Ching and Cambodia’s Minister of Information Neth Pheaktra on Wednesday (May 7).

During the bilateral meeting with Teo, Awang Halbi expressed support to Malaysia as Chair of Asean for the year 2025 and underscored AMRI’s role in contributing to regional progress and development towards Asean integration.
