BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The Ministry of Health has announced that prospective haj pilgrims for the 1446H/2025 season, particularly those aged 65 and above or with chronic health conditions who have passed their haj health screening, are required to receive the Covid-19 vaccination as advised by the government of Saudi Arabia.

To streamline the process, prospective pilgrims will be contacted individually to inform them of their vaccination schedule, including the day, date and venue, according to their respective districts.

Pilgrims are reminded to bring their Health Record Book (Green Book) and Vaccination Booklet on the day of their appointment.

The Ministry stated that prospective Haj pilgrims would be contacted in due course with further details regarding their vaccination appointments. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
