Rocketfuel Entertainment's rising superstar Nadeera Zaini is shining brighter than ever after her recent superb run which included finishing second in the Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL 39) competition.
Nadeera has been hitting the limelight many times recently and is again in the news as her hit song 'Bukan Lagi Kita' is the top song in the country after coming in ahead in all the music streaming platforms -- including Spotify Malaysia, Apple Music Malaysia, YouTube Music Malaysia and also iTunes Malaysia.
What is more, the interesting fact is that her song is only the third Malaysian hit to top the ‘Carta Spotify Malaysia Daily Top Song’ after 'Hasrat' from Amir Jahari and 'Suasana di Hari Raya' by Anuar & Ellina.
The song ‘Bukan Lagi Kita’, which was written and composed by fellow contestant Hael Husaini and friend Iqie Hugh, is also popular as it is also the OST for the popular local drama ‘Curang Tanpa Niat’. It song's music video has also emerged as a powerhouse on YouTube with more than five million hits.
The down-to-earth Nadeera, however, said in a media release that the current hot trend that she is experiencing is all down to her fans.
"I'm so thankful to all the support. It has been fantastic, I just hope they continue to support me always and I will always give my best to them. I also like to thank my producers and record company, the have always been a rock for me," said Nadeera.
"The AJL experience has been amazing and I hope to do even better in the future. This is a new beginning for me and with the love and support from the fans, I promise them even better performances and songs from me."
The 31-year-old Nadeera made her foray into Malaysian music in 2014 and made her first single entry with "Hasrat Hati" in 2015. Since then, she has been regularly hitting the charts but her current hit 'Bukan Lagi Kita' done last year has been a standout blockbuster.
This year she has done a duet with her good friend Hael and they produced "Gempak Most Wanted" the theme song for the "Gempak Most Wanted Awards 2024" show.
The singer who hails from Mersing, Johor, was also mentored by Malaysian music legend Zainal Abidin during her early years of her music career.
