Prabowo acknowledges Indonesia's worrisome corruption situation


JAKARTA: President Prabowo Subianto (pic) acknowledged the worrying corruption situation in Indonesia, identifying it as the root cause of declining performance across all sectors while addressing the 2025 World Governments Summit forum.

Prabowo, who could not attend the summit in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, replied to questions posed by the founder of Bridgewater Associates, Ray Dalio, regarding the low levels of education, research and development, and innovation in Indonesia caused by corruption, reported Antara news agency.
