Timor-Leste, Thailand agree to visa waivers


BANGKOK: Thailand and Timor-Leste have agreed to waive visa requirements for tourists with ordinary passports, with the goal of promoting tourism between the two countries even further, according to the Thai government.

The agreement came after Bendito dos Santos Freitas, the minister of foreign affairs and cooperation of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, paid an official visit on June 20 and 21.
