Laos war against corruption: Court sentences officials to life and eight years for major embezzlement

VIENTIANE (Laotian Times): Laos government's promise to fight against the many corruption issues in the country is picking up steam.

Recentlt, the Oudomxay Criminal Court handed jail sentences to two former civil servants for their involvement in a corruption case worth LAK 10 billion (US$454,935).
