Brunei's DANA fund receives US$5,667

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans (DANA) received a total of BND7,650 (US$5,667) donations from several organisations Thursday (June 13).

Deputy Minister (Security and Law) at the Prime Minister’s Office Datuk Seri Paduka Sufian Sabtu, as a member of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (Yayasan) Board of Directors, received the donations on behalf of DANA.

The Group of Wives of Cabinet Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Permanent Secretaries, Deputy Permanent Secretaries and Affiliated members donated BND3,500 while the International Women’s Club of Brunei donated BND1,650

The Yayasan Worker’s Welfare Body donated BND1,000 while the Yayasan Employees Charitable Donation Fund (TADEKHA) donated BND500 to DANA.

Meanwhile, First Emporium and Supermarket (Madang) donated BND1,000 to the fund. – Borneo Bulletin/ANN
