Laos to reduce use of harmful pesticides to humans and also ensure food security for the future

VIENTIANE (Xinhua): The Financing Agrochemical Reduction and Management (FARM) project, funded by the Global Environment Fund (GEF), will be implemented in Laos to reduce the use of pesticides dangerous to humans.

The project will be conducted by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Laos in cooperation with the Lao Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, according to a report from the ministry on Friday.
