Laos explores national data centre development to drive digital transformation


VIENTIANE (Xinhua): Laos' Ministry of Technology and Communications is moving forward with plans to develop a national data centre and government data exchange system, marking a significant milestone in the country's digital transformation journey.

The Lao Ministry of Technology and Communications and Phongsavanh Group Company Limited have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly conduct a feasibility study for the development of a national data center and government data exchange system, according to the ministry's report on Friday.
